SF Ball is a relaxed and friendly three-day social event, held at the Carrington House Hotel, Bournemouth. The Ball is a unique experience in the Sci-Fi world with attendees and celebrity guest alike enjoying a sumptuous three course banquet on the Saturday night in addition to the Guest Talks, Autograph Sessions, Photo Shoots, Dealers Room, Party Nights, Games and more.
For the next Ball SFBEvents is delighted to welcome Kate Vernon and Michael Hogan from Battlestar Galactica, Lolita Fatjo (pre production coordinator Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) and of course Torri Higginson!
We invite our guests to take part in the whole weekend experience from attending the parties to judging the fancy dress competition. All the guests will be taking part in Autograph Sessions, Photos With, Guest Talks and the Friday night Gold Ticket Cocktail party. A professional photographer is also available during the event ensuring that each attendee is able to obtain a high quality memento of their weekend.
The fun starts on Friday afternoon and continues non-stop until midnight on Sunday. Each night there is the chance to dance at the disco or simply relax with friends. Attendees are encouraged to interact with the stars by asking thought provoking, interesting or even probing questions during the daily guest talks.
There’s always something to do at SF Ball; attendees can take part in games such as “Hunt the Haggis” and “Six Word Poetry”, take a turn round the dealers’ room or chat with old and new friends at the bar. Our entertainment team run a range of activities to keep you amused – volunteer for the games, enter the quizzes or just sit back and enjoy the mayhem. There are also opportunities to flex your cerebral and creative muscles by entering the fiction and art competitions.
An on-site dealers’ room is open all weekend, supplying attendees with a selection of Cult TV and Sci-Fi memorabilia, merchandise and other desirable goodies. Unique items are also up for grabs at the charity auction.
The hotel housing the event is near the heart of the popular seaside resort of Bournemouth and boasts a swimming pool and wifi (charges may apply)

Your weekend starts in style on Friday night with the opening Ceremony and, if you are a Newbie to SF Ball, there is an exclusive Drinks Reception in the Bar where you can meet your liaison for the weekend and other convention attendees.
Each winner will receive an exclusive goody bag filled with film and TV promotional items that are not available in the shops and an event guide signed by all our star guests.

Reunion is brought to you by SFB Events, a non-profit organisation run by volunteers that raises money for The Teenage Cancer Trust.
SFB Events has the right to substitute the prize for a similar item of equal or higher value. SFB Events will not provide transport or accommodation for the winners and will not reimburse the winners for said expenses. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. Tickets do not include the dinner on Saturday night. Tickets can be upgraded to Gold Tickets or Dining Tickets for an extra payment and further tickets can be purchased through the SFB Events Website.
